Friday, 11 February 2011. This blog has been very neglected since late last year but at last I have finished the ripple blanket for Avid Reader and felt that it deserved a post. It fits over the top of a double bed with no overhang and as requested the ripple colours are random and every now and then a variegated ripple was added. Avid Reader is very happy with the result and I am pleased to have finished it. The super easy instructions from Attic 24.

Friday, February 5, 2016. We arrived, unpacked and then went exploring. The hotel was only about 4 blocks from the capitol so enjoyed our walk over to see it late afternoon that first day we arrived. It is a beautiful building despite the scaffolding around the dome. The dome getting a major restoration inside and out. Since so many of the museums were closed we did more walking and looking at the buildings from the outside than inside. Did get a chance to visit 2 on Tuesday an.
